About Ophelia

Ophelia is a venture-backed healthcare startup dedicated to addressing one of the most pressing crises of our time—the opioid epidemic. We offer evidence-based, FDA-approved treatments for opioid use disorder (OUD) through a telehealth platform designed to be discreet, convenient, and affordable. Operating successfully in 14 states for nearly six years, our multidisciplinary team includes physicians, scientists, entrepreneurs, and advisors delivering modern OUD treatment nationwide.

Role Overview

We are expanding our telehealth clinical operations that span dozens of states, and we seek an operations professional who combines precision, system thinking, and a strong motivation to enhance patient and clinician experiences. This role involves managing patient panel transitions, maintaining accurate clinical dashboards, and coordinating administrative functions vital for our Clinical Operations team's smooth performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient panel coverage during clinician leaves or transitions, ensuring seamless handoffs and updating internal systems accordingly.
  • Monitor clinician schedules to identify and resolve inefficiencies, supporting daily coordination as required.
  • Regularly audit clinical dashboards and Google Sheets trackers to verify data accuracy, detect anomalies, and update operational tools.
  • Collaborate with data teams to develop analytical skills and progressively take ownership of dashboard creation and maintenance.
  • Provide weekly on-call support to clinicians to resolve routine queries and maintain documentation, including SOPs and credentialing assistance.
  • Contribute to special projects and pilots, fostering cross-functional communication with engineering and data teams to enhance tools and processes.

Candidate Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in operations, healthcare operations, or related administrative/analytical roles.
  • Prior experience in a health technology or telehealth startup environment is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets including formulas, pivot tables, and data cleaning techniques.
  • Comfortable navigating BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Lightdash with eagerness to build analytical tools; SQL knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priority tasks with agility in a dynamic clinical setting.

Benefits and Compensation

  • Comprehensive medical, vision, and health insurance options, with many plans fully covered for employees.
  • Initial 20 paid time-off days (4 weeks), increasing to 25 days after 2 years and 30 days after 5 years of service.
  • 10 company-observed holidays annually.
  • Work-from-home stipend.
  • 401(k) contribution platform.
  • Additional perks including life insurance, disability coverage, financial wellness, and virtual primary care services.

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes transparency and equity with a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 annually, reflecting role complexity and expertise. There is potential for regular salary growth aligned with company performance milestones.
