Assistant Store Manager

Position Overview

The Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service by supporting retail staff in enhancing their sales skills. This role involves aiding the Store Manager to ensure the store operates efficiently and profitably while adhering to company policies and procedures. The Assistant Manager assumes full store responsibility in the Store Manager's absence and actively promotes the company's Loyalty Program aimed at encouraging repeat business. Additionally, this position requires providing constructive feedback about staff and products to both the Store Manager and Area Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a fashionable and well-groomed appearance while staying current with product knowledge to minimize stock loss.
• Stay informed about new products, trends, and fashion direction to effectively anticipate and meet customer needs.
• Ensure the retail team is equipped to deliver the highest levels of customer service to drive sales growth.
• Support the Store Manager in implementing store operating procedures as per company standards.
• Ensure strict adherence by all staff to brand and company policies at all times.
• Conduct regular audits of store administration and promptly address any issues.
• Organize staff schedules, manage leaves, and resolve grievances among retail employees.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards continuously according to established guidelines.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to increase repeat sales.
• Provide insightful feedback regarding employees and product performance to management.
• Maintain vigilant security awareness within the store to prevent negligence.
• Remain knowledgeable about various group brands to facilitate suggestive selling.
• Take full accountability for the store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Be physically capable of standing for long durations and handling heavy lifting as required.
