Assistant Manager/Manager - MSME Knowledge Bank

Overview

The Indian Industries Association (IIA) is seeking a qualified professional to lead the establishment, operation, and promotion of the MSME Knowledge Bank. This role entails creating a comprehensive and continuously updated "One Stop Information & Knowledge Platform" tailored for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The Knowledge Bank will aggregate, organize, verify, digitize, and distribute authentic and actionable information relevant to MSMEs, including industry insights, government policies, circulars, notifications, business opportunities, technology trends, finance, exports, sustainability, quality, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the IIA MSME Knowledge Bank as a centralized resource for MSMEs.
• Continuously update the platform with relevant and current information concerning MSME development.
• Collect, validate, organize, and digitize data pertaining to government orders, industry news, and other useful resources.
• Promote the use of the Knowledge Bank among MSME members to ensure widespread access to trustworthy and practical information.

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree: MBA or Master’s in Library & Information Science.
• Relevant experience ranging from 3 to 5 years for Assistant Manager level, and 6 to 10 years for the Manager role.
• Preferred backgrounds include MSME development, work in industry associations, knowledge management, MSME research, or business consulting.

Location and Travel

The position is based in Lucknow (IIA Head Office), with necessary travel across Uttar Pradesh and other parts of India as required.
