Role Overview
As an Assistant Fresh Department Manager at Woolworths Group, you will take a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the fresh produce department. Key Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for your team where individuality is valued while consistently delivering an exceptional shopping experience for customers.
- Lead by example and engage in delivering customer delight through recognising, caring for, and thanking our customers.
- Prioritise safety for both team members and customers by ensuring compliance with established safety processes within the store.
- Learn and understand the department’s operations thoroughly to effectively support and guide the department team daily.
- Collaborate productively with colleagues across the store to contribute to a positive customer experience and a supportive workplace.
- Develop your leadership approach and aspire to grow into future leadership roles.
- Demonstrate a willingness to work flexibly across stores to enhance the overall shopping experience.
Working Hours
The role follows a four-day work week schedule with specific roster times:
- Tuesday: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Wednesday: 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM
- Thursday: 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Friday: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Saturday: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
