Assembly Engineer - Electrical

About the Role

We are looking for an Assembly Engineer specialized in Electrical engineering to join our team at Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited, located in Kagal, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The candidate will focus on generator assembly, testing, packing, and troubleshooting, handling DG Sets, PNG Gensets, CPCB 4 engines.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and processes related to Generator Assembly, Performance Testing, and Packing departments.
• Lead and manage manpower effectively to meet production goals and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Maintain high-quality standards in production and supervise shop floor activities.
• Initiate and promote continuous improvements in safety, resource utilization, and reduction of conversion costs on the shop floor.
• Coordinate customer inspections conducted at the manufacturing plant.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement projects targeting Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Employee Morale.
• Monitor online performance metrics and conduct investigations into any shop floor accidents.
• Develop team capabilities through focused training programs and performance assessment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• Proven expertise in generator assembly, testing, and packing processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with DG Sets, PNG Gensets, and CPCB 4 engines.
• Competent in electrical and engine troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience in human resource management, including manpower handling and people development.
