Area Manager - Northern Germany

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee and drive the success of fashion retail stores across the northern Germany region, including Berlin, Hamburg, Bremen, and Hannover. This position assumes full accountability for sales and profitability across the area.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store teams by directing and mentoring Store Managers through continuous coaching and training initiatives.
• Drive performance by analyzing crucial KPIs such as revenue, conversion rates, average spend per customer, and personnel cost ratios, then implement targeted strategies to meet objectives.
• Ensure operational efficiency in stores and persistently refine processes and organizational structures.
• Maintain consistent and brand-aligned visual merchandising to enhance product presentation and promote sales.
• Guarantee an outstanding customer experience and superior service quality in all locations.
• Focus on talent acquisition, succession planning, and support recruitment efforts to build strong teams.

Candidate Profile

• Several years of professional experience within fashion retail, preferably in a comparable leadership role such as Area Manager or District Manager.
• Proven track record managing multiple store locations and driving sales growth.
• Strong leadership, coaching skills, and an analytical mindset with a keen affinity for numbers.
• Willingness to travel extensively within western Austria to support area operations.
• Excellent organizational skills, decisiveness, and a business-oriented approach.
• A passion for fashion trends and industry developments.
• Fluency in German is essential; English language skills are advantageous.
