Daily Responsibilities
- Create precise technical retail design drawings using AutoCAD
- Prepare comprehensive drawing sets for new construction, refurbishments, and rollout initiatives
- Oversee several projects concurrently, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery
- Serve as the primary client liaison, maintaining clear and professional communications throughout project phases
- Deliver design presentations to clients and stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and participate in meetings nationwide
- Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and project managers to guarantee project success
- Track project developments, identify potential risks, and escalate issues as needed
- Ensure all designs adhere to prevailing building regulations and industry standards
- Contribute to enhancing design workflows and studio processes
- Keep detailed project documentation while maintaining client confidentiality
- Promote a collaborative studio environment to facilitate project achievements
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Holds a degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or a related field
- Possesses extensive post-qualification experience in retail design or architectural settings
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing
- Has experience with retail fit-outs, refurbishments, or rollout projects
- Understands construction techniques, materials, and MEP coordination well
- Capable of accurately interpreting technical drawings, client specifications, and briefs
- Experienced in working with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants
- Exhibits strong organizational skills to juggle multiple projects effectively
- Excellent communication and presentation capabilities
- Self-motivated, detail-focused, and able to work autonomously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Possesses a full UK driving license without penalty points
- Willing to travel across the UK for site visits and project surveys
