Role Summary

The Architectural Engineer will hold a full-time onsite position in Saudi Arabia, responsible for crafting and reviewing architectural plans that meet fire safety regulations, Civil Defense mandates, and building codes. Day-to-day duties encompass coordination with civil and construction engineers, preparation of technical drawings, assisting with safety plan approval processes, and generating compliance-related documentation. The professional will also perform site inspections to evaluate existing structures for safety conformity and propose design adjustments as needed. Collaboration with project managers, consultants, and client representatives is essential to ensure timely project completion within scope and adherence to local standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong architectural foundation, experienced in building design and safety-centric layouts compliant with codes.
• Relevant background in civil engineering and construction, skilled in coordinating with interdisciplinary engineering teams.
• Competency in project management, capable of planning, prioritizing, and handling multiple projects under regulatory deadlines.
• Effective team collaboration skills to interact with internal teams, clients, and regulatory officials.
• Bachelor's degree holder in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related domain.
• Familiarity with fire safety standards, Saudi local building regulations, and Civil Defense criteria is advantageous.
• Proficient in design and drafting software tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalents, with capacity to produce precise technical drawings.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication aptitude, with meticulous attention to safety and compliance details.
• Prior experience in engineering consultancy or regulatory environments is a plus.
