Architectural Draftsman

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Draftsman skilled in creating detailed architectural drawings across residential, commercial, and township developments. The candidate should be proficient with CAD tools, well-versed in architectural standards, and have prior involvement in large-scale township projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop working, municipal, and detailed drawings for various residential, commercial, and township projects.
• Collaborate with architects and design teams to assist in concept development and execution drawings.
• Ensure all drawings meet accuracy requirements, clarity standards, and comply with local building codes and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate efforts with architects, consultants, engineers, and on-site teams to maintain design integrity.
• Keep drawing records and documentation current and well-organized.
• Provide support for approval drawings required by licensing and municipal bodies.
• Engage in layout planning, generation-for-construction (GFC) drawings, and as-built drawings preparation.
• Deliver drawings promptly to facilitate seamless project progression.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or ITI certification in Draftsmanship or a related discipline.
• Between 5 to 10 years of proven experience in drafting for residential, commercial, and township sectors.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and comparable drafting software applications.
• Familiarity with local Development Control Regulations (DCR) and municipal guidelines.
• Strong precision and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.

Additional Information

• Reports directly to the Head of Department.
• Work involves travel as required.
