Restructuring and Insolvency Practice
The Restructuring and Insolvency team at A&M helps underperforming or financially distressed companies stabilize operations and improve profitability and working capital. They collaborate closely with company management and stakeholders to navigate financial distress or insolvency scenarios, including judicial management and winding-up processes.
Role Overview
We are expanding rapidly in Southeast Asia and seek an Analyst based in Singapore to support a variety of complex restructuring and turnaround initiatives, including cases involving bankruptcy or financial distress. This role demands strong analytical capabilities and deep financial and accounting knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, examine, and organize extensive data sets, often incomplete or disorganized.
- Develop, analyze, and update detailed financial models, including 13-week cash flow forecasts.
- Utilize software tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to prepare client-facing deliverables.
- Engage with stakeholders involved in corporate insolvency and restructuring processes, including judicial management and receivership, assisting with asset recovery, compliance with statutory requirements, claims adjudication, and investigations into previous transactions.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to client proposals and pitch materials.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Graduates holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines.
- Applicants with up to one year of relevant experience in restructuring and insolvency, auditing, corporate finance, or banking are welcome.
- Solid expertise in financial modelling and financial statement analysis.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages such as Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication abilities for interacting at all client organization levels.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Team-oriented individual able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment.
