Role Overview
A global consulting firm is recruiting an AI Engagement Lead on a 12-month contract. This dynamic role demands a professional adept at working closely with clients in the insurance sector to spearhead the delivery of AI applications. The individual will serve as the nexus between client stakeholders and internal delivery teams, ensuring that AI projects are effectively defined, prioritized, and executed to meet high standards.
Key Duties
- Serve as the main contact point for clients, cultivating strong, trusted relationships with crucial insurance industry stakeholders.
- Lead the identification, prioritization, and implementation of AI use cases aligned with clients' business aims and value generation.
- Collaborate tightly with client leadership and internal teams to gather requirements, align expectations, and maintain coherence across project phases.
- Supervise the full delivery lifecycle of AI initiatives, coordinating efforts across technical, data, and product departments to assure timely and quality outcomes.
- Utilize extensive insurance sector expertise to guide AI strategies, pinpoint opportunities, and advise on best practices.
- Monitor and report on progress, risks, and results to both client and internal leadership with insightful updates.
- Facilitate client adoption and change management to ensure effective and sustainable use of AI solutions within their organizations.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience leading client engagements, particularly within consulting or professional services environments.
- Essential experience working within the insurance sector.
- Demonstrated success in steering AI use case delivery from concept to deployment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, able to confidently engage senior client executives.
- Strong grasp of AI and machine learning principles and their application to practical business issues, especially in insurance.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities effectively under consulting conditions.
- Preparedness to travel to London or Guildford 2 to 3 days weekly throughout the contract.
Contract and Logistics
- Contract duration: 12 months.
- Daily rate: £550 to £600, depending on experience.
- UK-based role with mandatory travel to London or Guildford multiple days per week.
