About the Role

Roane State Community College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for their Fire Science program within the Department of Social Science, Business and Education. The instructor will teach Fire Science courses both online via the D2L Brightspace platform and in-person at the Oak Ridge and Knoxville - Hayfield campuses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver instruction and engage with students effectively in classroom, lab, and field settings.
  • Evaluate and grade student work accurately and timely.

  • Successful completion of TN Fire Commission FO120-Conducting Live Fire Evolutions course.
  • Familiarity with IAFC/NFPS 1010 standards.
