Role Overview

Oceania's Elderslea Lodge in Upper Hutt is seeking a casual Activities Assistant to join their committed team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Diversional Therapist to design and execute engaging and diverse activity programs for residents.
• Assess residents’ capabilities and interests to encourage participation in activities.
• Adhere to company protocols to ensure a safe environment for residents.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in organizing and coordinating activity programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic attitude towards elderly individuals.
• Proficient communication abilities alongside competent IT skills.
• Energetic and lively personality.
• Possession of a clean New Zealand driver's license.
• Ability to multitask flexibly.
• Willingness to work during weekends.
• Applicants must have unrestricted work rights in New Zealand.
