Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and dependable Accounts and Documentation Executive to join our finance team. This role involves managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring regulatory compliance through documentation, and maintaining accurate financial records to facilitate smooth audits and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain compliance documentation related to GST, TDS, EPF, ESIC, along with other statutory filings.
- Support the collection and verification of documents required for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Ensure updating and proper archiving of company licenses, contracts, permits, and financial agreements.
- Keep thorough and organized records of documents related to vendor onboarding, client contracts, and tax submissions.
- Handle the processing and recording of daily vendor invoices, credit memos, and payment receipts.
- Validate accounts payable and receivable documents for correctness prior to payment processing.
- Perform periodic bank reconciliations and reconcile vendor and client accounts.
- Assist in conducting credit assessments and manage vendor payment schedules.
- Maintain both electronic and paper filing systems for all financial and legal records.
- Provide support to senior accountants and finance managers in preparing reports and financial statements.
- Follow up with vendors, clients, and external parties to obtain necessary documents and ensure compliance requirements are met.
Requirements
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage financial and legal documentation.
- Understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance related to GST, TDS, EPF, and ESIC.
- Experience in invoice processing, account reconciliations, and financial record-keeping.
- Ability to assist and collaborate effectively with auditors and senior finance personnel.
