Accountant

Role Overview

We are inviting a dedicated Accountant to join the HAS Law Firm team based in Dubai. This full-time, onsite position involves managing and supporting financial activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to UAE regulatory standards. The role requires contributing to daily accounting operations and maintaining comprehensive financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, receipts, and payment entries.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions utilizing Zoho Books accounting software.
• Support reconciliation of bank accounts and ledgers to ensure financial accuracy.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
• Ensure all financial documents and supporting evidence are well organized and up to date.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare basic financial reports and schedules as required.
• Assist with compliance and data preparation related to VAT requirements in the UAE.
• Carry out additional finance-related duties under supervision as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting or finance support roles.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrate foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial workflows.
• Proficient user of Zoho Books accounting software.
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and organizational skills.
• Effective time management capabilities and ability to meet deadlines.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel usage.
• Capable of working under supervision while maintaining efficiency.
