Accountant

About the Role

Vijayshree Wear Parts in Pune is seeking an Accountant to administer and oversee financial operations within the company. This opportunity calls for an individual experienced in managing the entire accounting lifecycle, from recording daily transactions to finalizing reports and ensuring compliance. Successful candidates will demonstrate a keen eye for accuracy and thorough knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial transactions and ensure accuracy in recording and reporting.
• Create and monitor budget forecasts to guide company spending and planning.
• Prepare and release timely financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end account closings promptly.
• Reconcile balances of accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure consistency.
• Process bank payments and ensure they are made on schedule.
• Calculate and file tax returns while ensuring all tax obligations are met.
• Maintain up-to-date balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
• Provide regular reports regarding the company’s financial stability and liquidity.
• Review and audit financial records and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data and carry out regular database backups as part of data security practices.
• Ensure strict adherence to company financial policies and government regulations.
