Role Overview

Team ASK Engineers Private Limited seeks an Accountant based in Pune, Maharashtra, responsible for overseeing daily accounting activities, ensuring compliance with GST regulations, managing invoicing and payment follow-ups, and maintaining thorough financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive day-to-day accounting entries and records.
• Create tax invoices, proforma invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers accurately.
• Handle accounts receivable and payable to ensure efficient cash flow.
• Engage with customers to recover outstanding payments promptly.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow transactions.
• Prepare GST returns and maintain adherence to statutory tax requirements.
• Keep detailed vendor and customer ledger accounts up to date.
• Collaborate with auditors and Chartered Accountants in preparing necessary financial documents.
• Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports and monthly financial statements.
• Utilize Tally ERP or Tally Prime software to maintain accurate accounting records.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 1 to 2 years of practical experience in accounts and finance roles.
• Preferred background in manufacturing, engineering, or construction sectors.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Tally Prime or Tally ERP accounting software.
• Sound understanding of GST and TDS regulations and compliance.
• Competence in MS Excel and MS Word for data handling and documentation.
• Experience in bank reconciliation processes.
• Ability to prepare invoicing and billing documents efficiently.
• Knowledge of managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Capability in generating financial reports and statements.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities for internal and external stakeholders.
