Accommodation Assistant

Job Overview

This full-time role involves working five days within a seven-day week (Monday to Sunday), with flexibility in scheduling. The working hours typically range from 8am to 4pm. The team takes great pride in maintaining impeccable cleanliness and presentation standards to ensure guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of assigned work areas at the highest standards to create a welcoming environment for both guests and colleagues.
• Collect floor keys and room lists daily from the Accommodation Manager or Supervisor, handle all keys and key cards responsibly, ensuring their safe return along with completed documentation demonstrating the daily schedule of work.
• Perform routine servicing of guest bedrooms and bathrooms for both occupied and departure rooms according to assigned tasks and required standards.
• Clean public areas and washrooms within the hotel as instructed.
• Ensure corridors in public areas and bedroom sections are clean as directed.
• Complete periodic cleaning assignments or special tasks beyond daily duties as assigned.
• Assist with laundry or public area cleaning when needed within the accommodation department.
• Use cleaning materials properly according to manufacturer instructions and training provided.
• Remove damaged or stained linen from circulation and leave with discards for the Accommodation Manager.
