About the Internship
Join Impresio Studio as a part-time video editing intern based in Alanthurai, Tamil Nadu. You will be responsible for producing engaging vertical short videos such as product showcases, customer experiences, and behind-the-scenes footage. The role involves end-to-end video production including planning, filming, editing, subtitling, adding music and captions, uploading, and quality checks before publishing primarily on Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. You are expected to publish at least one daily approved video, with two videos being ideal. We encourage creative input, allowing you to suggest fresh reel concepts and scripts to boost viewer engagement and watch times.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and record vertical short videos for various content categories.
- Edit and publish daily videos on social media platforms, focusing on Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Convert provided scripts, hooks, captions, and voiceovers into dynamic, attention-grabbing videos.
- Propose original creative ideas and experiment to enhance average watch duration.
- Manage the entire video production process from planning through publishing.
- Monitor video performance metrics such as views, watch time, retention, saves, shares, and comments to inform improvements.
- Participate in daily discussions to address obstacles and streamline workflow.
Candidate Eligibility
- Availability for a part-time internship lasting 3 months starting between July 26, 2026, and August 30, 2026.
- Relevant skills in video editing, social media marketing, and creative content production.
- Preference for candidates residing near Alanthurai, including areas like Semmedu, Narasipuram, Karunya Nagar, Madhampatty, Thondamuthur, or Irrutupalam for reliable commuting.
- Comfort with recording videos using smartphones.
- Proficiency in vertical video editing, working knowledge of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, subtitles, pacing, and music integration.
- Capable of consistently delivering at least one approved video daily.
- Portfolio of previous work involving reels is highly valued.
- Women interested in initiating or resuming their career are especially encouraged to apply.
Compensation and Perks
- Monthly stipend of ₹15,000 comprising ₹10,000 fixed pay plus ₹5,000 performance incentives based on approved videos.
