Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live broadcasts on NDTV Profit to identify impactful interviews, discussions, and market-sensitive segments.
- Edit and curate video clips for distribution across various social media platforms, ensuring content is formatted for digital-first and vertical video presentations.
- Support YouTube livestream management by scheduling streams, updating metadata, reviewing live broadcasts, and maintaining publishing processes.
- Craft engaging captions, headlines, and social media posts customized for diverse platforms.
- Develop or coordinate the creation of thumbnails and visual assets to enhance social media content appeal.
- Collaborate closely with the social media team to increase content engagement and reach.
- Analyze audience trends and performance metrics to contribute innovative content ideas responsive to viewer interests.
- Stay informed about current events in business, markets, technology, and broader affairs.
Candidate Profile
- Genuine enthusiasm for journalism, particularly relating to business news and market developments.
- Strong editorial instincts capable of swiftly spotting compelling content.
- Experience with platforms like YouTube, X, Instagram Reels, and knowledge of short-form video content is essential.
- Basic proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
- Ability to write clear, precise, and engaging social media copy.
- High attention to detail and capability to thrive in a high-paced newsroom environment.
- Availability for shifts beginning early morning (7:30 AM) or late evening (until 9:30 PM).
- Possession of a personal laptop to be used throughout the internship tenure.
- Effective communication skills and a cooperative team player.
- Prior exposure to YouTube Studio, livestream operations, and social media production workflows is preferred.
- Background knowledge of financial and business news is advantageous.
Eligibility Criteria
