Content Writing Intern

About the Internship

Material Depot, a startup supported by Y-Combinator and global investors such as Accel and Whiteboard Capital, is seeking content writing interns to assist in enhancing their content offerings. The company is pioneering a digital discovery platform for interior materials including tiles, laminates, wallpapers, wooden flooring, and wall panels, serving over 1,000 leading designers with over $4M in annual revenue.

Responsibilities

• Produce engaging and diverse content for our website, social media channels, blogs, and marketing initiatives.
• Write detailed and enticing product descriptions for wallpapers, wall claddings, wooden flooring, and installation services.
• Create scripts, captions, and text for video content, reels, and other digital media.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to strategize and implement content campaigns.
• Research current industry trends to develop innovative content that enhances brand presence.
• Proofread and refine content to maintain clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
• Develop educational materials that simplify and explain home interior concepts and related services for customers.

Applicant Requirements

• Availability for a full-time, onsite internship in Bangalore for a period of 3 months.
• Ability to commence the internship anytime between July 19, 2026, and August 23, 2026.
• Strong interest and relevant skills in the content domain.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly stipend ranging from INR 18,000 to INR 20,000.
• Internship certificate provided upon completion.
