About the Role
UCC Holding Group in Doha, Qatar is seeking an Organizational Design Team Leader to lead efforts in shaping and sustaining the company’s organizational structure, job architecture, grading framework, and strategic workforce planning. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational performance, clarifying roles, and ensuring alignment between the company’s business objectives and its workforce capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the organizational structure, maintain organization charts, and oversee governance processes related to structural modifications.
- Manage the job architecture system, including defining job families, crafting job descriptions, standardizing job titles, and mapping employee grades.
- Conduct job evaluations and grading assessments employing established methodologies.
- Lead manpower planning and workforce budgeting processes in partnership with Finance and business unit leaders.
- Provide analytical insights to support compensation and benefits programs, focusing on grade distributions and market pay positioning.
- Evaluate organizational effectiveness by analyzing spans of control, management layers, and identifying opportunities to optimize roles.
- Support organizational change initiatives such as restructurings and the setup of new functions or entities.
- Develop workforce analytics tools, dashboards, and scenario models to inform management decision-making.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in HR, with a minimum of 3 years focused on Organizational Design, Job Architecture, or Workforce Planning.
- Prior experience in a multi-entity corporation or holding group environment is highly valued.
- Expertise with job evaluation and grading methods such as Korn Ferry Hay, Mercer IPE, or Willis Towers Watson (WTW).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for modeling, HR analytics, and organizational reporting.
- Experience managing HR Information Systems (HRIS) and organizational charting software.
- Strong analytical skills combined with meticulous attention to detail and structured documentation capabilities.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Russian is considered an advantage.
