Role Overview

This full-time, on-site warehouse position located in Kathmandu involves receiving incoming shipments, verifying quantities and condition of goods, and organizing the warehouse based on company protocols. Daily duties include unloading delivery trucks, packing and preparing items for distribution to stores, and assisting with shipping and receiving paperwork. The worker will use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklift operation when applicable while adhering strictly to safety standards. Maintaining a tidy and orderly workspace, conducting regular stock audits, and collaborating with other warehouse and store teams are integral parts of the job.

Qualifications and Skills

• Practical knowledge of shipping and receiving tasks, including delivery inspections and preparing outgoing orders.
• Competence in packing and arranging goods to ensure their safety and efficient storage and transport.
• Capability to safely unload goods, including manual handling and use of fundamental warehouse tools.
• Experience or training in operating forklifts and pallet jacks, with a focus on safe equipment handling.
• Basic reading and math skills to understand labels, instructions, and complete simple documentation.
• Physical endurance suitable for lifting, moving, and stacking goods for extended durations.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and adherence to warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
• Prior experience in retail or warehouse settings is advantageous; completion of high school or equivalent education is preferred.
