About the Role
Join a leading global transport and logistics company as a Warehouse Material Handler. This position involves carrying out material handling tasks to support daily warehouse and value-added services operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute handling activities to support warehouse and value-added operations daily.
- Accurately pick, pack, label, and store products as per given work instructions.
- Prepare, stage, and relocate materials inside the warehouse to meet operational demands.
- Ensure correct identification, separation, and storage of raw materials and finished products.
- Perform basic quantity verifications and promptly report discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
- Assist with stock movements, replenishment, and fundamental inventory control procedures.
- Carry out safe loading and unloading of materials and pallets.
- Maintain proper storage environments and keep materials organized and orderly.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols for material handling at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and 5S standards within the warehouse space.
- Provide help during cycle counts and monthly inventory stock takes as needed.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock operations.
- Physically fit to carry out manual handling tasks safely.
- Strong safety awareness and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to follow standard operating procedures and specific work instructions.
- Effective team player with fundamental communication skills.
