Job Overview
The role involves managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of shipments including spare parts, with close coordination between various departments and maintenance of inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive shipments from courier services and collect cargo from airport or seaport locations.
- Manage the handover of shipments to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform packing and dispatching of spare parts to respective destinations.
- Maintain organization and orderliness of the warehouse and storage areas, including replenishing necessary work supplies.
- Carry out administrative tasks such as cycle counts and aging analyses to support inventory control.
- Collaborate closely with spare parts, service, and logistics departments and generate delivery notes.
- Update the ERP system to accurately reflect incoming and outgoing merchandise transactions.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Completed apprenticeship in technical or logistics discipline.
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role.
- Possession of valid driving and forklift licenses is required.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
- Experience in email reporting and correspondence.
