Job description
Role Overview
You will be a key player in managing warehouse operations at Velan Mini Super Mart in Singapore. Your duties will encompass receiving and inspecting stock items, efficiently picking and packing products with labels for outgoing orders, and aiding in container unloading. You'll also support product preparation and packaging for deliveries and handle warehouse machinery such as forklifts to safely move goods. Ensuring inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts, and maintaining a safe, orderly warehouse environment are crucial components of your role. Collaboration with office and logistics teams is essential to meet daily delivery schedules, while promptly reporting any shipment issues to supervisors is expected.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive, examine, and store incoming stock items accurately.
- Pick, pack, and label products in accordance with daily order requirements.
- Provide assistance with unloading containers.
- Prepare and package products efficiently for delivery dispatch.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery following safety protocols.
- Perform routine inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Coordinate with office and logistics teams to ensure punctual daily deliveries.
- Report shipment discrepancies or damages promptly to warehouse supervisors.
