Role overview
Join a radiology clinic team in Sydney and help keep patient movement running smoothly by safely transferring in-patients between the clinic and hospital wards.
Working pattern
This role may be offered on either a part-time or full-time basis. The standard schedule is Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm. Some Saturdays may also be required. For part-time hours, the expectation is 2 to 3 days per week, with each shift lasting 8 hours.
Key duties
- Move in-patients safely between the radiology clinic and hospital wards.
- Work closely with clinic staff to make sure patients are transferred promptly.
- Deliver a calm, professional and welcoming experience for patients during transport.
- Support the smooth daily operation and patient flow of the radiology department.
What the team is looking for
You should bring strong people skills and clear communication, work well as part of a team, and be physically able to walk throughout the hospital while handling patient transport equipment safely.
Training and experience
No prior hospital background is needed, as full training will be provided.
