Overview

Brescia Tiling specializes in installing wall and floor tiles using various materials such as ceramic, clay, slate, marble, and glass. Their services focus on both external and internal surfaces to deliver both aesthetic and protective finishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpreting work plans, measuring accurately, and arranging tile layouts
• Preparing walls and floors by removing existing tiles, grout, and adhesives, repairing any surface damage, and cleaning areas to be tiled
• Applying adhesives to surfaces and tiles, placing tiles precisely with correct alignment and spacing
• Cutting and shaping tiles for edges, corners, and around fixtures using specialized tools
• Securing tiles and finishing surfaces with grout and polish
• Inspecting and repairing or replacing damaged tiles when necessary
• Ensuring waterproofing systems are effectively applied
• May work with granolithic, terrazzo, cement, or other composite floor materials
• Possibility to create decorative mosaics with colored tiles

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of at least Certificate III or Certificate IV in a relevant field
• Minimum 1 to 2 years’ full-time experience in a similar tiling role

Compensation

The expected remuneration ranges from AUD 80,000 to 90,000 annually.
