Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) CNC machines, including programming and adjustments, primarily using Okuma VMC/HMC equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections and performance checks on machines to maintain optimal functioning and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Create and modify machine programs with G-code or other relevant programming languages to meet production requirements.
• Oversee machine operation throughout production runs to ensure final product quality aligns with specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly to avoid production downtime.

Candidate Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience operating VTL CNC machines, ideally within an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) environment working with Okuma machines.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Tool and Die Making obtained from a recognized academic institution.
• Solid ability to interpret technical drawings and a clear understanding of manufacturing workflows and processes.
