Job Overview
We are expanding our video production efforts and seeking a part-time Video Editor who does more than just assemble footage — someone who transforms raw material into compelling content. Experience in editing is valued, but what truly matters are your portfolio and editing samples, which you can submit in any format you prefer.
About the Role
The ideal candidate thrives in editing, works efficiently, and produces precise results. A good sense of humor, resilience to feedback, and enthusiasm for collaborative work are essential. You should also be well-versed in social media trends and culture to cater to diverse client needs ranging from Gen Z-oriented viral content to sophisticated corporate image films.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos for various platforms.
- Produce image films, testimonials, and longer video formats.
- Perform color grading on Log footage and manage sound design.
- Create basic motion graphics including titles, lower thirds, transitions, and animated logos.
- Generate and format subtitles and captions tailored to different platforms.
- Maintain clean project organization, version control, and handover processes.
Qualifications
- At least one year of professional experience in video editing.
- Strong connection to internet culture and social media content aimed at niche audiences.
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere coupled with After Effects.
- A keen sense of pacing and visual storytelling techniques.
- Solid understanding of visual design principles.
