Role Overview

This full-time remote position seeks a Video Editor who will partner with creative directors and designers to craft and refine video materials. Responsibilities include editing raw footage, sequencing clips, applying transitions and effects, and incorporating motion graphics. The editor also manages color correction and grading to maintain consistent visual style across projects, adapts content for various platforms, supports storyboard development, oversees project files and versions, and ensures all final exports adhere to technical and branding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video footage into coherent, polished narratives tailored for fintech and financial clients.
• Integrate motion graphics, animated titles, and other visual assets to enrich video presentations.
• Perform detailed color grading and correction to achieve consistent tone and mood throughout.
• Prepare video outputs optimized for multiple platforms and formats.
• Maintain project organization including file management and version control.
• Collaborate actively in feedback sessions, incorporating revisions based on internal and client input.
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance storytelling and production quality.

Candidate Qualifications

• Expertise in video production and editing, skilled in sequencing footage and narrative construction.
• Proficient in video color grading techniques to enhance visual tone and consistency.
• Experienced with motion graphics integration and creation of animated visual elements.
• Hands-on experience with professional editing and motion software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong attention to detail with a refined sense of pacing, visual composition, and audio synchronization.
• Ability to operate independently within a remote work environment, managing deadlines and collaborating effectively with creative teams.
• Keen interest or familiarity with fintech or financial subject matter, coupled with openness to learning complex concepts to translate visually.
• Relevant educational background or equivalent experience in video production, film, animation, design, or closely related discipline.
