About the Role

We are welcoming a driven and proactive Valeter to join our team at the Motorstore in West Bromwich. This role suits candidates who are physically active, detail-oriented, and excellent team players, focused on maintaining vehicles in impeccable condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleaning both sold and stock vehicles.
• Using high-powered pressure washers to clean vehicle exteriors.
• Employing high-powered vacuums and shampooing interiors to a high standard.
• Operating polishing and buffing machines for enhancing bodywork quality.
• Adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines when handling chemicals.
• Maintaining all equipment and reporting any faults promptly in line with safety instructions and PPE usage.
• Meeting timeframes and working towards daily productivity targets.
• Utilizing an online scheduling system to manage vehicle cleaning appointments.
• Keeping detailed daily logs of tasks completed.
• Performing additional support duties as needed to assist branch operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Possession of a full UK driving license.
• Basic proficiency with computers.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-driven, yet able to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Readiness to engage in training programs.

Previous experience in valet services is an advantage but not mandatory, as training and attendance at the company’s Valet Academy will be provided for enthusiastic applicants meeting the criteria above.

Working Hours

Full-time schedule includes Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and alternate Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
