Role Overview

The Universal Banker role at ADIB's Dubai Mall branch centers on delivering superior customer service, accurately recognizing client needs, and actively supporting overall branch success. This function uniquely blends helpdesk duties with Customer Relationship Officer tasks under the branch development framework. Only UAE Nationals are eligible for this position.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Promptly assist all in-branch customers with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Address and resolve customer questions, concerns, and issues effectively.
  • Identify customer needs proactively and recommend appropriate banking products and services.

Financial Duties

  • Assist in onboarding customers for liability products.
  • Manage Covered Card services and inquiries.

Service-Related Tasks

  • Handle inquiries about debit cards.
  • Respond to general account queries.
  • Send SMS communications to customers.
  • Manage police letter requests for returned cheques.
  • Administer dispute resolution services.
  • Set up, cancel, or amend standing orders.
  • Process funds transfers including telex transfers.
  • Manage installment postponements.
  • Issue various certificates and e-statements.
  • Manage returned cheque activities including receipt, delivery, and coordination with credit control unit.
  • Handle debit card and cheque book services including receipt, delivery, and destruction.
  • Engage in asset sales activities with minimal targets for 2025, with incentives to be negotiated separately.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by branch management as required.
