Trash Collector

About the Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated full-time Trash Collector to join Allegiance Industries, Inc. in Newport News, VA. This role involves working night shifts from Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, in a manufacturing facility environment. The primary responsibility is to collect, transport, and dispose of waste materials in a safe and compliant manner.

Key Duties

• Lift and gather waste materials throughout the facility.
• Ensure waste is securely contained and labeled in alignment with safety standards.
• Transport garbage and recyclables to specified waste disposal locations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation regarding waste disposal activities.
• Offer assistance with general cleaning tasks as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Good physical endurance and agility.
• Ability to identify safety risks and report them to relevant staff members.
• Possess dependable transportation to and from work.
• Strong commitment to adhering to schedules and following directions.
• Ability to maintain professionalism in the workplace.
• Must be capable of operating a forklift safely.
