Trainee (m/w/div.) Technischer Einkauf

Overview

The role offers a comprehensive introduction to diverse purchasing areas including project procurement, indirect procurement, and lead buyer tasks. The trainee will develop into a 360° buyer before focusing on a specialized procurement field.

Responsibilities

• Acquiring and managing tasks within various procurement domains.
• Selecting suppliers, conducting tenders, and negotiating contracts with regional and global partners.
• Developing and implementing global, forward-looking category strategies.
• Consistently enhancing strategic suppliers regarding quality, delivery performance, and cost while optimizing the supplier base.
• Collaborating across departments to support procurement goals.
• Executing cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Completion of studies in industrial engineering, business administration focusing on procurement, or equivalent commercial and technical training.
• Strong technical and commercial understanding combined with negotiation and communication skills.
• Quick learning ability, motivation, openness to innovation, and a practical approach.
• Excellent IT literacy, especially with modern media and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of e-procurement and ERP systems is advantageous.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong teamwork, conflict resolution skills, and an independent, goal-oriented work style.
