About the Role
NorthFox Technologies is looking to recruit an experienced Thermographer to join their specialist commissioning and validation team. This role focuses on supporting the delivery of high-profile data centre and mission-critical infrastructure projects across Ireland and Europe, utilizing advanced thermal imaging technology for fault detection.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thermal imaging inspections on critical electrical and mechanical systems within mission-critical environments.
- Analyze infrared images to detect temperature irregularities and potential system failures.
- Generate comprehensive and professional reports outlining findings and suggested corrective actions.
- Communicate technical results and provide expert advice to clients and multidisciplinary commissioning teams.
- Participate in commissioning meetings and contribute to the overall project delivery process.
- Maintain, calibrate, and ensure accuracy of thermal imaging equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all inspection activities.
- Collaborate effectively across teams to ensure optimal system performance and safety.
Candidate Requirements
- Relevant thermographer certification from a recognized industry body is highly desirable.
- At least 12 months of professional experience in thermal imaging or a related role.
- Proficiency with thermal imaging cameras and analysis software.
- Strong skills in report writing and client communication.
- Excellent attention to detail with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to inspection work.
- Competency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Possession of a full UK/EU driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
- Ability to work on shift rotations across Europe.
Salary and Benefits
