Test Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Test Engineer to build and support automated test solutions for automotive electronic control units (ECUs). The role focuses on requirement-based test design, execution across SIL/HIL/MIL environments, and close coordination with engineering teams to improve product quality and test coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, enhance, and maintain automation scripts and test frameworks for ECU validation.
• Run automated tests in SIL, HIL, and regression cycles.
• Translate system and software requirements into automation-ready test scenarios.
• Execute tests, interpret logs, and document defects clearly.
• Work with development and systems engineering teams to strengthen test depth and coverage.

Technical Skills Needed

• Hands-on experience with Python or CAPL and test framework development.
• Practical exposure to Slash Framework, Robot Framework, and Pytest.
• Ability to build and maintain automation for SIL, HIL, and MIL test setups.
• Experience developing reusable automation frameworks.
• Working knowledge of NI TestStand and Vector tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking systems.
• Understanding of automotive ECU testing and system architecture.
• Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols including CAN, LIN, and UDS.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
