Technology Support Specialist

About the Role

Join ITARMI in Sydney's CBD as a Technology Support Specialist on a 12-month full-time contract, supporting a globally recognised hospitality company. This position is office-based at Bond Street, Sydney, providing IT support across Australia and New Zealand.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver desktop support for Windows 11 devices.
• Handle provisioning, deployment, and laptop replacement for new hires and device refresh cycles.
• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Office apps, and Copilot.
• Provide remote technical assistance to users across ANZ region.
• Manage imaging, software installations, and user migrations.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware, audiovisual meeting room systems, warranty repairs, and procurement.
• Maintain and support Teams Rooms and AV equipment in meeting spaces.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to resolve networking, VPN, firewall, and connectivity issues.
• Perform basic Active Directory administration tasks.
• Troubleshoot SecureDoc or similar endpoint encryption solutions.
• Support Apple iOS devices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 support.
• Proven ability to support remote users effectively.
• Excellent troubleshooting aptitude combined with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining coordination with global IT teams.
• Experience with Intune or other endpoint management tools is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Teams Rooms and AV technology is an advantage.
