Technical Project Manager

Role overview

This position is focused on scaling AI-driven software deployments for the global mining sector. The work goes far beyond tracking plans and budgets; it involves delivering advanced technology solutions into highly complex industrial settings. The role sits within the Mining Technology Operations team and supports the company’s continued expansion in the Middle East, especially in Saudi Arabia, where mining is a major strategic priority under Vision 2030.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of technology implementation projects from start to finish, keeping delivery aligned with budget and schedule commitments.
• Convert business needs into technical specifications and RFCs for product and engineering teams.
• Create and update Grafana dashboards that clearly demonstrate to customers how the AI platform is improving operational performance.
• Use modern AI-powered productivity tools to speed up documentation, analysis, and early-stage prototyping.
• Manage the risk register, serve as a control point for delivery risks, and support key account planning to strengthen long-term customer growth.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience in software implementation, along with a good understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methods. Experience working with large industrial organizations is important, and prior exposure to mining software is a strong advantage. The role also calls for comfort with BI tools and a basic understanding of AI/ML lifecycle concepts.

Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to write technical updates, present to stakeholders, and keep expectations aligned across teams. The job involves frequent travel to mining sites in Saudi Arabia and internationally, so willingness to travel is required. A valid driving licence is also necessary.

Additional information

This role reports directly to the VP of Mining Technology Operations and plays an important part in scaling field operations. It offers the opportunity to work with a globally distributed team while contributing to industrial efficiency and sustainability.
