Role Overview
The Talent Scout at Eleven Development is a full-time remote role focused on discovering promising football players who align with the company's player-first values. Daily activities involve researching and monitoring potential talents, analyzing performance data and video evidence, and establishing connections with clubs, academies, and community football organizations. The scout will perform both virtual and face-to-face assessments, compile comprehensive scouting reports, and work closely with coaching and development teams to align players with appropriate programs. Responsibilities include managing an organized flow of talent, assisting with recruitment events, and providing insights to enhance identification and retention processes.
Qualifications
- Proven background in talent scouting and recruitment with an understanding of pathways in player development.
- Skillful in hiring and interviewing processes, including evaluating potential, cultural fit, and long-term growth requirements.
- Excellent communication capabilities to build rapport with players, their families, football clubs, and internal teams.
- Knowledgeable about football performance indicators, developmental stages by age group, and contemporary coaching practices.
- Ability to operate autonomously in a remote setting, effectively organize time, and maintain precise documentation and reports.
- Comfortable using digital tools such as video analysis software, data management platforms, spreadsheets, and tools for remote teamwork.
- Previous experience in sports scouting, coaching, or player development is a strong plus.
- Educational qualifications or certifications in sports management, coaching, or related disciplines are advantageous.
