System Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled System Engineer with over five years of experience to join our team for a 3-month contract role. The position requires onsite presence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and fluency in Arabic is essential. The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, and managing enterprise systems that support the Committees Management System.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design system architecture to meet enterprise needs
• Set up and configure servers and related infrastructure components
• Install and maintain essential applications ensuring optimal operation
• Continuously monitor system performance and reliability
• Diagnose and resolve technical system issues promptly
• Implement measures to maintain system security and ensure continuous availability
• Assist in deployment procedures during system rollouts
• Produce detailed technical documentation for system operations

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in administering Windows and Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and practices
• Understanding of computer networking concepts
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools and protocols
• Expertise in backup strategies and recovery processes
• Adhering to security best practices within system environments
• Hands-on experience with cloud platform technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field. Additionally, candidates must have at least 5 years of professional experience as a System Engineer. Arabic language proficiency is mandatory, and the candidate must be available to work onsite in Riyadh throughout the contract period.
