Primary Responsibilities

• Track and manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and plan stock replenishment to maintain availability.
• Use supply chain metrics and data analysis to uncover cost efficiencies and procedure enhancements.
• Work closely with departments like Procurement, Operations, Finance, Sales, and Production to meet operational targets.
• Recognize potential supply chain risks and establish robust contingency and business continuity strategies.
• Supervise transportation, warehousing, and distribution to maintain superior service standards.
• Lead initiatives to improve processes, implement digital solutions, and automate supply chain workflows.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and compliance standards.
• Generate operational performance reports and dashboards for leadership review.
• Guide and nurture the supply chain team, fostering professional growth and high performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related fields.
• Demonstrable experience managing supply chain, procurement, logistics, inventory, or operations functions.
• In-depth understanding of supply chain planning, demand forecasting, inventory control, and supplier management.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and decision-making aptitude.
• Experience utilizing ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalents.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and supply chain data analytics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Capacity to juggle multiple tasks and achieve results in a dynamic environment.
• Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop teams effectively.
• Industry certifications like CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, or PMP are advantageous.
