Role Overview
The Supply Chain Executive acts as the primary liaison for both internal teams and external partners concerning the assigned product portfolio. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager for External Manufacturing, the role manages the entire procure-to-pay cycle for pharmaceutical products via global Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).
Key Responsibilities
- Generate regular reports to assist demand forecasting, customer service, warehousing, and distribution functions.
- Analyze Supply Chain KPIs and data flows to foster ongoing process improvements.
- Coordinate supply chain activities within acquisition projects, ensuring alignment with business timelines and budgets.
- Manage smooth transitions of Market Authorization ownership and ensure readiness of new stock with company-approved branding.
- Establish and validate master data in ERP systems and ensure its timely integration into CMO planning tools.
- Investigate and solve supply chain challenges related to bridging inventory, serialization, and temperature compliance while adhering to Good Distribution Practice standards.
- Perform inventory and procurement analysis to advise strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate with CMOs, distributors, regulatory, artwork, and IT teams to resolve packaging and supply issues and drive process enhancements.
- Identify improvement opportunities, prepare business cases, and engage stakeholders to implement new tools and action plans.
- Troubleshoot transport, logistics, customs, imports/exports, and customer concerns.
- Communicate early warnings on potential product or stock disruptions to internal peers.
- Resolve complex data integrity issues within the supply chain.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of regulations concerning pharmaceutical procurement, including controlled substances and dangerous goods.
- Ensure adherence to data integrity and company ethical standards.
- Comply with Pharmanovia’s Standard Operating Procedures and approval processes relevant to supply chain management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science or CSCP/MBA certification.
- At least five years experience in pharmaceutical supply planning, procurement, acquisitions, and integrations, including managing controlled drugs, dangerous goods, and devices with knowledge of various health authority regulations.
- Experience leading energetic teams and collaborating across global functions.
- Proficient in SAP S4H supply planning and ordering processes within pharma, combined with advanced skills in Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in engaging divestment partners and delivering solutions ensuring uninterrupted supply.
