About the Role
This position is based in a hybrid setting at the company headquarters located in New York City or Chicago, Illinois. Factor's Retail division is expanding from a pilot stage to nationwide coverage, partnering with Target and broadening its footprint across club, grocery, and specialty retail channels. This expansion demands meticulous day-to-day supply chain and logistics support to ensure products are produced, shipped, received, and executed with reliability.
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will assist the Head of Supply Chain & Logistics for Factor New Channels by helping manage production readiness, shipment tracking, retailer distribution center execution, item setup processes, issue resolution, and fostering communication between Retail, Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily supply chain and logistics operations for retail accounts including Target and future clients.
- Monitor production readiness, shipment schedules, logistics milestones, delivery statuses, distribution center requirements, and potential service risks.
- Coordinate efforts among production, procurement, logistics, co-manufacturing, and internal supply chain teams to uphold retail commitments.
- Maintain operational tracking tools for purchase orders, shipments, appointment schedules, inventory risks, short shipments, service issues, and pending action items.
- Assist in resolving operational issues related to shipments, appointments, retailer receiving protocols, inventory concerns, product shelf-life, and service levels.
- Prepare materials for weekly commercial and supply chain meetings, monthly performance reviews, and launch readiness evaluations.
- Support item setup workflows, including coordination of UPC, GTIN, SCC codes, shipment details, logistics requirements, and retailer readiness data.
- Collaborate with Sales Strategy & Planning teams on forecast reconciliations, launch timetables, promotional readiness, and commercial change impacts on operations.
- Oversee tracking of operational milestones, dependencies, and readiness risks for new product and account launches.
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures for retail logistics, shipment tracking, issue escalation, item setup, and launch readiness adaptable to business growth.

- Proficient with data tools such as spreadsheets, trackers, dashboards, and operational reports.

- Collaborative team player working effectively across Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, Planning, Finance, and Business Operations.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 3 years in a consumer packaged goods supply chain role servicing retail, logistics, operations, procurement, production planning, or related fields.
- Experience handling operational data, shipment details, inventory, purchase orders, production milestones, or cross-functional projects.
- Strong command of Excel or Google Sheets for managing operational data.
- Effective written and oral communication skills to clearly summarize issues and drive necessary follow-up.
- Background in CPG, food, grocery, fresh/refrigerated product logistics, fulfillment, or manufacturing is advantageous.
- Capable of working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners in a dynamic, fast-moving context.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with a sense of ownership and commitment to follow-through.
- BA/BS degree preferred in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.

Location and Salary Range

Salary Range: New York – $89,775 to $99,750 USD annually; Illinois – $83,475 to $92,750 USD annually.
