Structural Inspector - Roads & Bridges

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Structural Inspector with over eight years in site supervision and inspection of bridge and transportation infrastructure projects to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves overseeing structural and bridge construction to ensure alignment with approved plans, technical specifications, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect site activities related to bridge and structural works with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
• Handle projects involving major highways, bridges, interchanges, and urban infrastructure developments.
• Inspect reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and structural steel components.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, construction method statements, and conduct rigorous site inspections.
• Monitor contractor performance to guarantee compliance with project specifications and quality assurance/control standards.
• Assist Resident Engineers by addressing technical and construction-related challenges encountered on-site.
• Apply knowledge of Saudi standards, Ministry of Transport requirements, and global construction practices.
• Preferably possess experience working on projects within the GCC region and specifically Riyadh.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

• Expertise in steel and concrete bridge construction and inspection.
• Experience with flyovers, interchanges, underpasses, and retaining structures.
• Background in bridge rehabilitation including strengthening, widening, and replacement projects.
• Strong skills in construction supervision, quality assurance/quality control, and effective stakeholder coordination.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least eight years of relevant experience in site supervision of bridge or structural works, ideally within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
