Role Summary

As a Delivery Driver, you are the vital link ensuring the speedy and accurate arrival of delicious pizzas to customers. Success in this role requires a friendly demeanor, punctuality, enthusiasm in customer interactions, and professionalism in appearance, reflecting the brand’s values.

Responsibilities

• Navigate efficiently using maps to locate delivery addresses within designated zones including various delivery environments such as multi-story buildings and private homes.
• Perform repetitive duties independently or as part of a team under stress while maintaining high quality and ethical standards.
• Assist with inventory tasks including stocking ingredients from delivery areas to storage or refrigeration units and complete related paperwork.
• Handle telephone orders promptly to ensure rapid service and customer satisfaction.
• Perform basic calculations quickly and accurately, including making correct monetary change; capable of using calculators when necessary.
• Comfortably use computer keyboards, touch screens, and foot pedals integral to order processing.

Physical Requirements

• Primarily work standing, with activities requiring walking on ceramic tile and linoleum surfaces, with work surfaces between 4 and 36 inches in height.
• Occasionally assist in unloading bulk deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, requiring lifting and stacking.
• Perform tasks involving crouching, stooping, squatting, bending, and stair use.
• Utilize hand-eye coordination for pizza dough preparation, use of pizza peel and cutter, and folding pizza boxes.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.
• Possession of an insured vehicle available for delivery use.
• Successful completion of Criminal Background and Motor Vehicle Record checks, meeting company-specific standards.
