Stockroom Assistant

Position Overview

Kilkenny Design is seeking a Stockroom Assistant for their Christmas Pop-Up in Kildare Village Outlet, running on a fixed-term contract from September 2026 through January 2027. The role requires full flexibility and availability to work on a rotating schedule covering weekdays, weekends, daytime, and evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by demonstrating product knowledge and fostering strong customer relationships.
• Manage all stock movements, including receiving stock from suppliers and transferring between stores.
• Maintain accurate records for all inventory inflows and outflows.
• Resolve discrepancies related to stock, including faulty goods, late or short deliveries by processing and investigating claims as necessary.
• Collaborate with management to ensure credit paperwork is accurate and properly documented.
• Keep the stockroom organized, clear, and accessible at all times.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations within the stockroom.
• Ensure SKU accuracy by verifying that all barcode labels match the system records and barcoding stock items when needed.
