About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous and proficient SolidWorks Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating 3D models, technical drawings, and detailed manufacturing documents while working closely with production and engineering divisions to deliver top-notch mechanical design solutions.

Core Responsibilities
- Develop and update 3D models, assemblies, and comprehensive 2D drawings utilizing SolidWorks software.
- Create precise manufacturing drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and other technical documents.
- Design mechanical parts and assemblies fulfilling project specifications.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality assurance teams to validate design practicality.
- Assess designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Maintain and manage engineering documentation including revision histories.
- Assist with prototype development, testing phases, and implement design enhancements.
- Ensure designs comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong command of SolidWorks, including Part Modeling, Assembly, Sheet Metal, and Drafting modules.
- Solid understanding of engineering blueprints, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and manufacturing workflows.
- Experience with AutoCAD is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams.
Preferred Skills
- Background in product design, machine design, or fabrication industries.
- Knowledge of ERP platforms and BOM management systems.
- Familiarity with CNC machining, sheet metal work, or fabrication methodologies.
- Experience with SolidWorks rendering or simulation tools is beneficial.
