Key Responsibilities

• Proactively contribute to the ongoing technical advancement of our platform by introducing ideas that improve robustness, performance, and scalability.
• Participate in technical architecture decisions covering feature design, data models, API structure, and tooling strategies.
• Collaborate extensively with Product, Design, and Business teams to develop technical solutions aligned with user needs, and confidently challenge existing requirements when improvements are possible.
• Execute tasks methodically and independently from breakdown through implementation, deployment, and production monitoring, with dedication to code reviews, testing, and thorough documentation.
• Work closely with senior engineers and technical leadership to develop your skills through pair programming, architectural discussions, and constructive feedback.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 2 to 3 years of software development experience, ideally within a scaling SaaS environment supporting both feature delivery and live production maintenance.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, preferably with backend experience using NestJS, supplemented by solid frontend knowledge including React.
• Experienced in designing modern APIs, managing various system architectures, and data modeling, capable of evaluating trade-offs objectively.
• Familiar with deployment, testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines, treating these as essential components of the development lifecycle.
• Self-aware of personal strengths, with a proactive approach to seeking assistance when needed to overcome challenges.
• Approach work pragmatically with a solution-oriented mindset, grounding decisions in understanding the "why" before addressing the "how".
• Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous.
