Software Engineer

Overview

E-Solutions is seeking talented software engineers for an advanced AI data project. The role involves building infrastructure and training datasets crucial for developing and assessing AI agents.

Key Duties

• Develop backend Python applications simulating SaaS tools such as Slack, Linear, Jira, Notion, Gmail, and wikis by implementing integrations and full backend services.
• Conduct comprehensive backend testing and integration verification to ensure connectors accurately replicate their target systems.
• Modify and update existing connectors as per requirements; perform internal testing before finalization.
• Create new connectors from the ground up within set timelines.
• Engage in data and task mining to identify workflows suitable for extended task creation.
• Author realistic tasks informed by mined data and workflows.
• Ensure task and data quality and accuracy through organized quality assurance and formulate clear evaluation rubrics outlining benchmarks for correct, partially correct, and inadequate outputs.
• Utilize AI coding tools proficiently across development, QA, and validation processes.
• Collaborate across connector and task teams and participate in onboarding, calibration, and quality review activities, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least three years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong command of Python programming with experience in backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and software pipeline configurations.
• Proven experience in designing scalable backend applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Proficiency in AI-assisted coding tools including but not limited to Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot.
• Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing protocols, and maintaining code quality.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong collaboration within distributed teams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Prior work on integrations or connectors for SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation frameworks, QA methods, and rubric development for datasets.
• Experience designing workflows for long-duration AI task development.
